Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to discuss the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in customers’ perspective. Therefore the idea of CSR and the main Caux Round Table Principles were described. Also the definition of customer and the customer-enterprises inter¬actions were shown. To better describe the discussed issues, the mentioned principles were compared with the expectations of the modern consumer. It could be observed that the Caux principles place “a higher level of maturity” than that presented in the empirical picture of consumer expectations.
