HISTORIC SONG AND ITS EVOLUTION

Summary/Abstract: In this paper are analyzed historic songs which are most relevant compositions of folk poetry. These songs in the past were forbidden; they followed the fate of Albanians through historical currents, reflecting continuous sufferings, endeavors and wars of Albanians against foreign occupations. Together with other historical developments these oral poetic compositions have evolved too. They didn’t maintain loyal to traditional model of singing since they changed their structure.
