Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present the activities in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which were introduced to the acquired organization after the merger. The study involved five companies belonging to the category of pharmaceutical manufacturers, which were taken over in the years 2008–2010. The paper pointed out the elements of CSR which were introduced in the acquired organizations three years after acquisitions, and raises the question if there have been important changes in the situation and structure of employment and if the manner of their introduction has become inherent in the assumptions of Corporate Social Responsibility.
