Report on the activities of the BHRN in 2003-2004

Summary/Abstract: For the past couple of years, the Balkan Human Rights Network (BHRN/ Network) has proved to be a well placed investment on behalf of the human rights organizations in the region. The activities of the Network are wide ranging and have, to a certain extent, been covered in the Balkan Yearbook of Human Rights on the annual basis for the past three years. In respect to the main subject of this year's issue, the report we are about to present is focused on the question of minorities in the Balkan region. While not neglecting a complete picture of the BHRN activities from July 2003 till June 2004, projects relating to the subject of minorities are the ones standing out in the pages that follow. Before we proceed however, a¸couple of words about the Network are in order.
