The Romanian Commercial Enterprises in the European Union

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the commercial legislation of the European Union and the way in which the Romanian organizations will catch up with the norms regarding the share companies, as they are provided by the European directives. In Romania, the changes in the commercial organizations law (1997, 1999, 2003, and 2005) have tried to embed the acquis in the field, thus being considered that the Romanian legislation is aligned to the acquis’ provisions. Notwithstanding all these, in the present the Ministry of Justice prepares new major changes of this law.
