Empathy of Music Teacher as a Problem of His Profesional Self-Actualization

Summary/Abstract: The article aims at casting some light on the teacher's place and position at general education institutions. Recent changes in the social life and science are a pre-condition for the new requirements for participants of educational processes. The heaviest importance is given to the personality, student-educator relations, their needs, abilities, experience and empathy, and self-actualization. Therefore, analysis of expressing the needs for empathy and its importance in musical upbringing and activities has crucial importance. Our aim is to disclose the status of music teempathy and self-actualization, to indicate the reasons and attitudes that stimulate the aforementioned process, as well as to discuss constituent elements, ways and forms of empathy and self-actualization of music teacher.
