Summary/Abstract: In review od poetry book “Silk sheets” by Meliha Travančić, second published collection of poetry by this author, it was indicated that its highly enriched BH literary scene. The book covers several different topic areas in which center is the female lyrical subject traumatized by the experience of social norms. Gender roles, cultural system, the patriarchal culture and values, becoming an object of problematisation, to the border when the lyrical subject expresses freely their own nature. In this interpretation at the center of interest is the body as a symbol of cultural and social norms, but also a source of pleasure. The book, also, thematizes motive of loneliness.
