Summary/Abstract: The work will include the post-war poetic creativity of Bisera Alikadić, therefore, the collection of poems “I do not surrender” and The City of Courage, and then to the Book of Time, contextualizing it in a war letter, and trying to see how a female discourse is formed within the dominant theme of the war experience. The questions to be answered are whether and in what way this part of the poetic creativity of Bisera Alikadić testifies to individual and social tragedy and an existential trauma in the war, or whether metaphorical poetic speech will be given to the need to reflect human fates through poetry and turn into a testimony of an obscure city and a speech about the terrible Bosnian war experience, and how the feminine gender identity is imagined in it.
