Summary/Abstract: The study considers thinking at the level of revolution rather than stagnation, evaluating court probation at the level of qualitative rather than quantitative changes. A clinical model of court probation is proposed, incorporating the casework method. The systemic proposals reject a conservative-liberal approach in favour of radical abolitionist reasoning. The modal value of court probation is a service of specialists with professional knowledge and skills in anamnesis, diagnosis, catamnesis and social prognosis for previously convicted persons, cooperating with services in the community to extend probation work to medium-intensity and non-custodial penalties.
