Summary/Abstract: This article stands for the assumption that Conservatism gathers a coherent and unified system of attachments for a partnership between generations, traditions, order, stability and authority. Thus, the author tries to highlight the canons of the conservative thought, approved and shared by the contemporary conservatives, pointing out the intellectual roots of this doctrine, that are anchored in Edmund Burke’s writings and speeches.
