Summary/Abstract: The present study examines the relationship between mother-child communication during play and the language progress of typically developing children aged 10 to 36 months. The objective is to analyze how positive parenting, assessed via the Bulgarian version of the PICCOLO (Parenting Interactions with Children: Checklist of Observations Linked to Outcomes) tool, influences speech skills measured by Prof. Manova- Tomova's assessment method. The findings provide new data confirming that positive parental behavior is a fundamental factor in enhancing a child's language development.
