Summary/Abstract: The article presents an analysis of the early stage of contemporary political parties structure in four Central European countries: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia and their contemporary dimension. Author tries to compare different parties presenting their specific and common qualities. The analysis includes more than two decades since the beginning of democratic transformation in Central Europe.
