Summary/Abstract: Exceeding the limits of self-defense is a personal legal mitigating circumstance, consisting of an exaggerated response to an attack, determined by a feeling of indignation or anger, not by disturbance or fear. Thus, the perpetrator, faced with a material, direct, unjust and current aggression, reacts to defend himself, with means disproportionate to the imminence of the attack.
