Summary/Abstract: Hagiographic homilies and speeches about saints date back to the first centuries of Christianity and are a model for generations of preachers. Saints actually never get old or "outdated." On the contrary: they are always people of "tomorrow", people of the evangelical future of man and the Church, witnesses of the "world to come". All information should be extracted from the lives of the saints, their own testimonies that show the action of the Holy Spirit and, through him, the risen Jesus in their souls. It is equally important to show the dimensions of their lives and activities (pain, suffering) in which the new (Jesus') model of life is clearly visible - appropriate for people who already on earth belong to the Kingdom of God. Saints are the Gospel already realized.
