Medieval coins from the numismatic collection of History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Summary/Abstract: Based on the nine coins contained within the collection of the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the exposition briefly presents the medieval monetary politics and its influence on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If we pay attention to the materials and motives used with the medieval money, which was made in accordance with the orders of Bosnian rulers, we can see the direction of not only monetary, but also the economic and cultural influence of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the High Middle Ages. The exposition also contains a registry of the medieval coins in the collection of the museum, along with the information on how they were obtained.
