Summary/Abstract: In the study that we submit to your attention in the following lines, we will refer to the scholastic and extracurricular activities carried out by Professor Sabin Evuțianu until 1919, initially in the Pedagogical Section of the Theological and Pedagogical Institute supervised by the Orthodox Diocese of Caransebeș during PS. Miron Cristea. Then in the “Preparandia” Normal School in Aradin, during the period when the director was Roamn Ciorogariu, the later Orthodox diocese of Oradea. In the study that we submit to your attention, we will refer to the activity of Professor S. Evuțianu in Caransebeș, initially as a teacher, and then we will state his school and extracurricular efforts as director of the “Traian Doda” High School in Caransebeș during the period 1919-1923. S. Evuțianu was a member of Astra, founder of the Banat Cultural Association, president of the Caransebeș Didactic Club. He was a deputy in the Synod of the Orthodox Diocese of Caransebeș and in the National Church Congress. S. Evuțianu, participated, following the invitation addressed to him by the Primate Metropolitan of Romania I.P.S. Dr. Miron Cristea, at the Coronation Celebrations of the Sovereigns of Great Romania, King Ferdinand I and Queen Maria on October 15, 1922 in Alba Iulia. It was part of the suite P.S. Dr. Iosif Traian Bădescu, Orthodox Diocese of Caransebeș. Through the lines that follow and which we make available to the interested reader, we recover, in part, an important course in the life of the Romanian intellectual S. Evuțianu, both in the service of the Romanian school and of the cultural structures involved in social pedagogy projects in Caransebeș and in Banat in the first years after the Union of 1918.
