Summary/Abstract: In the present article, the authors aim to present information about the activity of Dumitru Petrescu Tocineanu, who distinguished himself as an exceptional officer of the Royal Army of Romania. The research we have undertaken has been designed from the perspective of historiographical recovery, both of the hierarchical path of this important officer, and to present the distinctions, medals, diplomas of honor and decorations that the above-mentioned officer held on his own merits. He was honored by the Romanian sovereigns, Ferdinand I, Carol I and Mihai I, but not only in the time interval 1912-1943.
