Summary/Abstract: The study that we bring to your attention below presents a series of sequences considered significant from the life and activity of Major General Dănilă Papp, during the period in which he served as commander of the VI Territorial Army Corps from Cluj (1924–1930). Events such as the welcoming of the Romanian sovereign Ferdinand I to Cluj, of the other members of the Royal House of Romania, such as Crown Prince Carol of Romania, Prince Nicolae, Princess Ileana. The inter-institutional collaboration with Cluj Prefecture, especially in the mandates of prefects Seprimius Mureșan, Marcian Căluțiu, Adam Popa, with the institution of the Orthodox Church during its pastorate by the diocese P.S. Nicolae Ivan, the worthy founder of the Assumption of the Virgin Orthodox Cathedral in Cluj. But also with the one united during the shepherding period of P.S. Their Dr. Valer Traian Frențiu, the Greek-Catholic Bishop of Oradea Mare and Iuliu Hossu, the Bishop of the Greek-Catholic Diocese of Cluj-Gherla, especially at the time of the meeting in Oradea-Mare of the papal wedding Archbishop Dolcio Mariae Angelo, the representative of the Vatican in Romania in the period of 1923–1933. General Dănilă Papp was personally invited by Bishop V. Traian Frentiu to Oradea on the occasion of the anniversary of a century and a half since the establishment of the united Romanian diocese of Oradea Mare. Also, the involvement of the VI Army Corps from Cluj and its subordinate structures in the Avram Iancu Centenary, held at the end of August and the first days of September 1924, but also in the Union Celebrations held on May 10 and 20, 1929 in the Capital and at Alba Iulia. We note that during this period the division general also participated in social-cultural events such as Astra’s gatherings in Arad in 1924 and Zalău in 1926, respectively he was part of the Central Committee of the Cultural League and of the National Houses Central. We note his participation on October 30, 1927, together with central and local officials, including ministers Constantin Angelescu and Alexandru Lapedatu, P.S. Nicolae Ivan, diocese of Cluj, rector Florian Rădulescu Goangă, prefect Partenie Dan, at the ceremony in which the University of Dacia Superior in Cluj was granted the name of the sovereign Ferdinand I.
