Pastorala PS Lucian la praznicul Învierii Domnului 2023
Pastoral Letter of His Grace Lucian on the Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord 2023

Summary/Abstract: This document is the 2023 Easter Pastoral Letter authored by Bishop Lucian of Caransebeș. Written during the commemorative year of church hymnographers, the text reflects on the spiritual transition from Great Lent to the joyous season of the Resurrection. It highlights the profound contrast and continuity between the penitential Great Canon of Saint Andrew of Crete and the triumphant Paschal Canon of Saint John of Damascus. The Bishop emphasizes that Christ's victory over death brings universal joy, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life. Finally, the letter urges the faithful to embrace spiritual vigilance, brotherly unity, and frequent Eucharistic communion.
