Summary/Abstract: Through this study, we aimed to recover and place in the recent historiographic circuit the main moments in the life of neuropsychiatrist Dr. Gheorghe Preda, one of the prominent representatives of the Sibiu elite. Dr. Gh. Preda was a renowned internationally recognized expert in the field of neuroscience, a teacher at the Military School for Infantry Officers No. 2 „Prince Carol” in Sibiu, former president of the Sibiu Branch of the Transylvanian Association-ASTRA, former vice-president of the same institution between 1925-1948. Our research approach, which we submit to your attention, was focused on recovering and presenting Gh. Preda's teaching activity in two prestigious military educational institutions in Sibiu during the period 1920-1938, both for the Infantry and Cavalry Armies.
