Summary/Abstract: The interpretation and application of Article 58 paragraph (1) of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 59/2000, in relation to Article 254 of the Labour Code, Article 84 letter a), Article 85 paragraphs (1) and (2) of Law no. 188/1999, and Article 6 paragraph (1) of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 85/2006, concerning the material jurisdiction and admissibility of actions brought by the public authority in the field of forestry to recover from personnel responsible for guarding the forest fund the value of damages caused by the illegal cutting of trees.
