Summary/Abstract: The High Court, deliberating on the question of law with which it was seized, notes the following: 1. The author and the subject of the referral The Suceava Tribunal, Civil Section, ordered, by the ruling delivered in the public hearing of 22 November 2013, in case file no. 1067/334/2013 on the docket of that court, the ex officio referral of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, pursuant to the provisions of Article 519 of the Code of Civil Procedure, for the purpose of issuing a preliminary ruling on the following question of law: the clarification of the manner of interpretation and application of the provisions of Article 36 of Law no. 1/2000 on the reconstitution of ownership rights over agricultural and forest lands, requested under the provisions of the Land Fund Law no. 18/1991 and Law no. 169/1997, as amended by Law no. 212/2008, in correlation with the provisions of Article 33 of Law no. 1/2000.
