ON THE BORDER BETWEEN TWO CENTURIES OR ON THE DEMOCRATIC CHANGES IN BULGARIA IN THE LEARNING NARRATIVE

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the problem of studying the history of the democraticchanges in Bulgaria on the border between two centuries in the modern Bulgarian school.Through the analysis of the textbooks, conclusions were made for the interpretation of keyissues from the historical development of Bulgaria after 1989. We search for opportunitiesfor developing the civic culture of the students and their active attitude to the problems inthe modern world. There are some good didactic ideas in the presentation of this complexhistorical narrative.
