WEAPONS AND MONEY FOR THE REVOLUTION: MILITARY AND FINANCIAL AID FOR IMARO FROM OFFICIAL BULGARIA (1896 – 1912)

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the material assistance that the Bulgarian State Government provides to the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organization (IMARO). It has been shown that official Bulgaria provides the IMARO with a significant amount of money and weapons. These funds are usually less than the revolutionaries want, but still contribute to the strengthening of the Internal Organization.
