Summary/Abstract: Intracranial haemorrhages in neonates can be classified as perinatal complications. Among children born prematurely, periventricular haemorrhages (PVH/IVH) of varying severity (grade I to IV) are the most common. These bleedings represent a risk factor for neurodevelopmental disorders. This article presents the results of an analysis of the speech development of 37 preterm children with periventricular haemorrhages.
