Summary/Abstract: This article addresses the issue of the relationship between words, images, and music in Léon Kochnitzky’s work within the framework of interdisciplinary research. It attempts to provide an insight into the Belgian writer’s vision of three-voice poetry, in which the author, by attributing specific sensory impressions to the respective artistic fields, translates the analogies between images, words, and sounds into analogies between painting, poetry, and music. Particular attention is given to music, which here serves as a connecting element between different levels of narrative and as a means of expressing emotional nuances beyond the possibilities of language.
