Summary/Abstract: This paperconsiders theinstituitional and legal framework of the digitalization in Serbia. We firstly defined and differentiate among the terms digitization, digitalization and digital transformation. Then we tracked the short history of the digitalization in Serbia and described the main institutions and regulations that comprise the basic framework for digitalization of the economy and other sectors of society in Serbia.
