Summary/Abstract: Military terminology represents a strictly organized and dynamic subsystem within the national linguistic corpus, fulfilling a key communicative function within the armed forces and reflecting strategic, organizational, technological, and cultural-historical realities. In the Turkish language, military vocabulary has evolved under the influence of various factors – from the rich Ottoman military heritage, through the reforms of the 20th century, to Turkey’s membership in NATO and its participation in international peacekeeping missions. This makes Turkish military terminology particularly interesting for linguistic and terminological analysis. In an era of global military transformations and rapid technological advancement, understanding and systematizing military terminology is of vital importance – not only for intercultural communication and translation, but also for military education, operational planning, and academic research.
