Summary/Abstract: This article aims to discuss the mathematical literacy of preschool children (6–7 years old) presented through diagnostic procedures at the end of the school year. The formulated test packages include one module for each educational area, containing two tasks. The data collected in this study are quantitative data in the form of results for the mathematical competencies of children at exit level. Excellent knowledge of the intellectual and cognitive abilities of children by teachers helps to adequately organize, stimulate and improve mathematical activity, develop the potential of each child and its full realization in the educational process. This gives a clear idea of the readiness of children for school and their role in social life
