Summary/Abstract: Business models have received significant attention from theorists in recent decades, but there is a lack of serious research on them in the field of arts, particularly in Bulgaria. The issues surrounding business models are highly significant, considering the new conditions in which they are radically changing, not only for businesses but especially for art organizations, as many of them often struggle to cope with financial issues. This paper emphasizes the importance of creating sustainable and effective business models for art organizations, which should not only meet financial needs but also support social and cultural objectives. Art organizations must find a balance between revenues and expenses while simultaneously generating value through the artistic quality and social mission of their products. The challenges and opportunities in the nonprofit sector, particularly for organizations with a non-profit goal, are also part of the discussion regarding adaptation and innovation in contemporary arts management.
