Summary/Abstract: Th e INDXR platform is a tool forelectronically processing manuscript sources. Th isarticle is a written version of a paper presented atthe seminar organised in 2023 by the Commissionof Historical Geography of the Polish HistoricalSociety and the Varsavianist Research Team ofthe Tadeusz Manteuff el Institute of History,Polish Academy of Sciences. It discusses usingthis platform while processing the fi ve oldestKalisz city books from the collection of the StateArchives in Poznań. It also presents the method ofworking with the sources and using its results inthe volume of the Historical Atlas of Polish Citiesdedicated to Kalisz.
