Summary/Abstract: This article draws on social contemporary theories in order to emphasize the question of cultural policy and its social significance for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Opinions represented in this article offer an overwiev towards different theories and types of cultural policies. Moreover, this article observes cultural policy determinations within the context of economical, political and cultural imperatives. Thus, it accentuates the signficance of culture in a broader spectrum.
