Summary/Abstract: With this publication, the author begins to introduce readers to a new concept of the history of Subcarpathia / Transcarpathia. This essay (the first of four) will be about the most ancient period of the history of the land with many names under the Carpathians, starting from one million years ago and ending at the beginning of the 9th century AD, namely from the settlement in Korolevo of primitive man in the Stone Age till to the time when the region was under the influence of the Avar Khaganate.
