Summary/Abstract: This article is intended for both students and scholars who want to become acquainted with the key approaches and methods in translation and interpreting research. While it provides substantial theoretical background, its primary focus is on presenting the current state of the art regarding the methodological tools in use today. In this respect, the article deals with translation studies, which, although offering valuable insights into various translation research topics, only briefly touch upon the methodological aspects of conducting translation research.
