The Moral Heresy of Our Time

Summary/Abstract: The paper explores the theme of the hidden danger of reducing evangelical life tp moral categories, based on Professor Georgios Mantzaridis’ definition of moral heresy. It raises the question of the distortion of the meaning of Christian life through its reduction to moral norms and behavioral models — a tendency that undermines the very essence of ecclesial existence. A person is not saved by virtue of being morally elevated, but through the recognition of their own spiritual poverty and through genuine repentance.
