The knapped lithic material discovered in the Starčevo-Criș settlement at Voetin- La Curte point

Summary/Abstract: Our paper presents technological and typological observations acquired from the analysis of lithic items discovered in the Voetin village, Sihlea commune, Vrancea County. Generally, Neolithic collections studies in sites from the Carpathian curvature area are rare. Therefore, in this context even the small collections, such as our case, may provide important technical data, namely the use of raw material sources (flint and obsidian), and information about production of narrow, thin laminar blanks (blades and bladelets).
