The impact of cultural stereotypes on our society

Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the impact stereotypes have on cultural interactions. We analyze different types of stereotypes in different cultures, and we explore and review solutions to approach them. We discuss multiple types of stereotypes such as gender stereotypes, age stereotypes, class stereotypes, ethnic and racial stereotypes. We show how these stereotypes affect cultural interactions and how they shape people’s thinking. We illustrate how these cultural stereotypes are manifested in different countries. The change must begin with us, the people, as we are the engine of our society and we cause problems to which we also hold the answers.
