Summary/Abstract: Today, in folk singing training in a non-traditional setting, along with absorbing the experience and vocal-technical techniques of the best performers, conscious mastery of vocal habits is necessary. The first thing a novice singer should be familiar with is the structure of his own instrument, i.e. the sound-forming apparatus, with the functions of its parts.
