Summary/Abstract: The singer's voice is one of the most wonderful gifts of the Bulgarian. Many accept folk singing as a natural gift, but in fact, it is a complex performing art. It is joyful that today many young people are interested in the Bulgarian folk song and performing style. For us, it (the song) represents a high artistic value, which exists and develops according to the aesthetic needs of the time. Having lost its applied and practical function, today the song is a means of mass communication, carried out through the activities of the media, various folklore ensembles, choral and chamber vocal formations, soloists, etc. The main motive is artistic expression. It changes the genre ratio in the repertoire of folk singers.
