Text Mining and Data Visualization Analyis: IBC Exampl

Summary/Abstract: International Business Congress (IBC), one of the most established and institutional congresses in the field of social sciences, has been bringing together many scientists every year since 2001. The aim of this study is to analyze the extended summary studies in the proceedings of the International Business Congress held between 2019 and 2023 with text mining and data visualization method. In this context, the pdf files of the proceedings books from 2019 to 2023 were analyzed and visualized in different ways with the help of the R-Studio program. The originality of the study is the integration of text mining and data visualization into the field of social sciences. The main theme used in the analysis was the frequency of use of the concepts "pandemic, covid-19, green, digital, entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainability, leadership, organizational, crisis, corporate, industry 4.0, gender and inequality" in congresses between 2019 and 2023. The reason why these words were chosen as the main theme is that they are the most frequently used meaningful words as a result of the frequency analysis made in the proceedings books. According to the findings, it was observed that there was a connection between the themes of the studies and the social situations experienced.
