ЗНАЧАЈНО ПОЕТСКО ДОСТИГНУЋЕ
A SIGNIFICANT POETIC ACHIEVEMENT

Summary/Abstract: Miloš Vidaković was a writer of the movement Mlada Bosna (Young Bosnia), who remained insufficiently studied and unjustly little known and recognized in our literary-historical science. He wrote lyric poems in free form, sonnets, and literary criticism. The poet was ideologically related to Mlada Bosna (Young Bosnia) and was a member of the group of the most prominent poets and critics from Mlada Bosna (Young Bosnia). Even today, literary criticism does not provide more appropriate definition of his poetry, although it has been more than a hundred years since the publication of his first works in the magazine „‟Zora‟‟(1908). The main issue of detailed analysis of his work remained unsolved. This work should show that aesthetic, artistic, and ideological values of poetry of Miloš Vidaković are not enough observed. This work will include Vidaković‟s intimate lyric poems in free form. Based on a deeper and more comprehensive analysis of this poetry, the central objective of the research is to find more convincing literary-critical arguments for overcoming stereotyped value judgments and to present the poet as an artist and a national fighter. The essence of the work is to observe and describe basic aesthetic and moral values of poetry of Miloš Vidaković by using the method of analysis and more detailed interpretation and taking into account the social reality of the period in which the poet lived.
