ADVANCEMENT OF MOTIVATION IN HUMAN RESOURCES IN THE SECURITY SYSTEM

Summary/Abstract: Motivation, along with abilities, skills and training, represents the main component of the human resources in the system of protection. Nowdays, the prevailing concept is that motivation is a complex issue, and its factors must be seeked in the personality itself, as well as in the system of the work organization and its sociopsychological characteristics. Efficiency of the security system is impacted by the numerous elements, such as motivation, education, training and improvement of the human resources within. The aim of this paper is the advancement of the existing condition in the fields of motivation, education, training and elaboration of human resources in the protection system of Republic of Srpska, as well as improving prevention and eliminating the consequences of crime. The main idea is to determine in what ways, the promotion of motivation, training and human resources improvement affects the efficiency of work and tasks in the field of internal affairs, with accent on prevention and crime reduction.
