EDUCATION, TRAINING AND ENHANCING OF HUMAN RESOURCES IN SECURITY SYSTEM

Summary/Abstract: The need for security is one of the man's basic needs. It does not always comprise the protection from various forms of threats, but also the access to the means necessary for the life of all subjects of society. All that imposes a need for a strong syistem of security and protection from all kinds of threats, and specially from crimerelated activity. The effectiveness of security syistem is influenced by numerous factors as, in particular, education, training and enhancing of human resources within the system Thebasic prastical goal of this study is to improve the current situation in the education, training and enhancing of human resources in security system of Republika Srpska, and strengthen the effects of the process of preventing and removing the consequences of criminality. The main issue is to determine how and in what way do the education, training and enhancing of human resources contributes to efficient execution of jobs and duties in interior affairs, with a stress put on activities preventive towards criminality in making.
