Summary/Abstract: The paper describes a Green Chemistry STEM project that involves the production of a biodegradable polymer from algae. The stages from preparation through manufacturing and testing to the final product are tracked. Tests show that the resulting polymer is strong and functional, offering an eco-friendly alternative for everyday items. Through practical application of their knowledge, students not only develop their technical skills, but also realize the importance of sustainable materials and their impact on the environment. This way of working plays a key role in the formation of environmental behavior in students and inspires young people to actively contribute to sustainable development, while developing 21st century soft skills.
