Summary/Abstract: This report proposes methodological ideas for the application of integrative links in the elementary school teaching process in the subjects of Environmental Studies, Mathematics and Information Technology. They are based on solving practical problems that require simultaneous work in several subject areas enhancing the knowledge and skills of young students through teamwork and responsibility. The cross-curricular relationships that are created determine the integrative learning of the subjects content which in turn contributes to the tudentspreparation according to the key competences inherent in the personal development of young students in first grade. The integrated knowledge of the three subjects provides an upgraded image of traffic safety in the minds of the students developing social and civic competences at the same time.
