Summary/Abstract: Background: Support systems for renewable energy production in Poland and the sales prices ofenergy from renewable sources.Research purpose: An attempt to evaluate support systems in the face of high investment costs,high specificity of assets and the long waiting time for the first revenues to appear.Methods: Review of sector sources, sector reports, literature studies, comparative analysis ofsupport systems after 1981, SWOT analysis.Conclusions: The FIT system provides investors with long-term financial stability.
