Summary/Abstract: The book I am currently working on, Simulacrum and War: Political Discourse in Posthistory, is, as the author informs us, a political book. The volume is structured into two main parts. First, there is an "excursion into the abyss and social openness," where the deep ideological conditions and transformations of recent decades are examined—changes that have led to the emergence of postmodern cultural and political discourse, which is the author's primary focus.
