THE NEED FOR CONTROL OF MOVEMENT IN THEATER OF OPERATIONS

Summary/Abstract: The complexity of deployment planning of large tactical units from the national territory, and the little time available to achieve them requires accelerated implementation of the Allied Deployment and Movement System (ADAMS). This aim was taken during integration into NATO, and provides a rapid and efficient transport planning. This requires that all levels of command have a real database including the organization, manning, equipment and material, allowing quick access to them, in order to define the calculation required in developing plans for deployment and for testing their feasibility. At the same time enables rapid preparation of plans, analysis and dissemination between nations and NATO headquarters.
