Summary/Abstract: Scouting is one of the elements of Polish cultural heritage. Developing scientific reflection on scou- ting and scouting pedagogy is an important postulate. The authors in the presented work discuss the significance and achievements of Prof. Andrzej Jaczewski in the aforementioned area. It is si- gnificant both in terms of theoretical reflection and practical action.
