THE DIFFICULTIES OF ADULTS IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING NEW TECHNOLOGIES

Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the issue of teaching adults in the field of new technologies. It seeks an answer to the question of what difficulties an adult encounters when learning new technologies, based on the implementation of new software in a learning public organisation. It describes the creation of a virtual world and the significant changes taking place in the field of communication. In the learning process, an adult carries a considerable baggage of experience gained at earlier stages of life, which will not always be conducive to the desired effects of acquiring new skills, due to burdens or prejudices regarding the use of new media and electronic equipment. The article addresses the adult education market from the perspective of professional training, and refers to the regulation of the Minister of Education and Science issued in 2023, which sets out the rules of continuing education for adults.
